Business Development Specialist

2 Tasks in the role

As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in driving Orange Trail’s growth by generating new business relationships and expanding our global client base. You’ll work with an agile advertising agency solving a huge pain point in the industry, helping direct advertisers and agencies across the world scale without limitations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generate leads through multiple channels including Facebook Groups, forums, LinkedIn, and networking platforms
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via direct messaging and email
  • Set appointments and qualify prospects through discovery calls
  • Follow up, nurture, and close leads in the existing pipeline
  • Take initial sales calls to qualify prospects and identify their pain points
  • Recognize common advertising issues prospects face and position solutions effectively
  • Upsell and cross-sell services to existing clients
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with partners globally
  • Manage pipeline in HubSpot and maintain detailed records
  • Progress to closing sales calls based on performance

3 Who we are looking for

  • Hungry for sales success and motivated by results
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage prospects effectively
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)
  • Organized and process-oriented mindset
  • Constant drive to learn and improve
  • Solution-oriented with belief that any problem can be solved with creative thinking
  • Self-starter who takes initiative
  • Available 30-40 hours per week
  • Proven track record that can be demonstrated through examples of previous work

4 Not required but a plus

  • Knowledge of paid advertising and digital marketing
  • Experience with HubSpot, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace
  • Understanding of advertising platforms (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.)
  • Ability to recognize advertising challenges and compliance issues
  • Experience in upselling/cross-selling services
  • Background in B2B sales, SaaS, or agency environments
